We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. If you have any questions or concerns about this privacy notice, or our practices with regards to your personal information, please contact us at logan@northwestbladeworks.com.
When you visit our website and use any of our Services, we appreciate that you are trusting us with your personal information. In this privacy notice, we seek to explain to you in the clearest way possible what information we collect, how we use it and what rights you have in relation to it.
1. What Information Do We Collect?
Personal information you disclose to us. We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and Services, when you participate in activities on the Website, or otherwise when you contact us. The personal information we collect may include names; email addresses; mailing addresses; billing addresses; debit/credit card numbers; and contact or authentication data.
Payment Data. We may collect data necessary to process your payment if you make purchases. All payment data is stored by our payment processors, and you may review their privacy notices for details.
Information automatically collected. Some information — such as your IP address and/or browser and device characteristics — is collected automatically when you visit our Website. This includes log and usage data, device data, and location data. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Website and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.
2. How Do We Use Your Information?
We use personal information collected via our Website for a variety of business purposes, including: to send administrative information to you; to protect our Services; to enforce our terms, conditions and policies; to respond to legal requests and prevent harm; to fulfill and manage your orders, payments, returns, and exchanges; to respond to user inquiries and offer support; to send you marketing and promotional communications (which you can opt out of at any time); and to deliver targeted advertising to you.
3. Will Your Information Be Shared With Anyone?
We only share information with your consent, to comply with laws, to provide you with services, to protect your rights, or to fulfill business obligations. We may process or share your data based on consent, legitimate interests, performance of a contract, legal obligations, or vital interests. We may also share your information in connection with a business transfer, or with third-party vendors, service providers, contractors, or agents who perform services for us.
4. Who Will Your Information Be Shared With?
We only share and disclose your information with the following categories of third parties: communication and chat tools; content optimization (such as video embeds); data backup and security; invoicing and billing; shopping cart services; order tracking and management; and product fulfillment.
5. Do We Use Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies?
We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies (like web beacons and pixels) to access or store information. Specific information about how we use such technologies and how you can refuse certain cookies is set out in our Cookie Notice.
6. How Long Do We Keep Your Information?
We keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this privacy notice unless otherwise required by law. No purpose in this notice will require us keeping your personal information for longer than 2 years.
7. How Do We Keep Your Information Safe?
We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, no electronic transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Transmission of personal information to and from our Website is at your own risk.
8. Do We Collect Information From Minors?
We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age. By using the Website, you represent that you are at least 18 or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor dependent’s use of the Website. If you become aware of any data we may have collected from children under age 18, please contact us at logan@northwestbladeworks.com.
9. What Are Your Privacy Rights?
You may review, change, or terminate your account at any time. If you are resident in the European Economic Area or Switzerland and you believe we are unlawfully processing your personal information, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection supervisory authority. Most web browsers are set to accept cookies by default; you can usually choose to set your browser to remove or reject cookies.
10. Controls for Do-Not-Track Features
Most web browsers include a Do-Not-Track (‘DNT’) feature. No uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized, so we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals.
11. Do California Residents Have Specific Privacy Rights?
Yes. California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the ‘Shine The Light’ law, permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes.
12. Do We Make Updates to This Notice?
